For dinner, I was directed to the on-site bar, La Parreda, where I enjoyed a lovely atmosphere that seamlessly blended simplicity and style. The menu offered a mix of traditional Mexican fare and contemporary cuisine, crafted with local ingredients. One standout dish was the grilled fish, seasoned perfectly and paired with a vibrant salsa verde. The hotel's location is fantastic and makes exploring nearby attractions straightforward. I appreciated not only the comfy rooms and exceptional shower but also the helpful staff who ensured my stay was seamless. La Portilla is a culinary gem wrapped in natural beauty, making it an excellent choice for food lovers and travelers alike.
